Solicitation is available on DIBBS. SCOPE: In addition to the NSNs specified in the proposed solicitation, the scope of this contract includes all DLA and DOD managed NSNs for which DAIMLER TRUCKS NORTH AMERICA LLC (64678) is the sole source. NSNs within this scope may be added to any resulting contract at a later date. The solicitation will include L27 Addition and Deletion of Items (AUG 2017) to facilitate the addition of any future NSN. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, teh final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and delivery as described in the solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Under this solicitation, the resulting contract(s) will be Fixed-Price with Annual Price Adjustments, Indefinite Quantity Contract(s) issued under FAR Part 12, with a 3-year base period and two 1-year option periods that may be exercised at the discretion of the Government, for a total contract period of five years, if both options are exercised. Escalation percentage will be allowed on all base period and option years; excluding the initial year of the base period.
