The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) will issue a Request for Proposal on or about November 15, 2021. This solicitation will be available at: https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ under Requests for Proposal (RFP) and will be open for 30 days, allowing for offerors to review the solicitation, its required documents, and to provide a proposal. This project and subsequent solicitation includes a single NSN, 6105-01-078-1178 MOTOR-TACHOMETER GE Annual Demand Quantity (ADQ): 116 Item must be acquired from a manufacturing source specified on a source control drawing. For NSN 6105-01-078-1178, KEARFOTT CORPORATION 05088 P/N CU09609159 is the only manufacturing source specified on the source-controlled drawing. See Product Item Description included as part of the solicitation. Drawings are accessed in the cFolders at time of the solicitation at: https://pcf1x.bsm.dla.mil/cfolders Drawings will be found by the solicitation number. An indefinite quantity contract (IDQ) for one base year and two, 1-year option periods is anticipated. The total duration, base period plus option years shall not exceed 3 years. Government required delivery (GRD) will be notated on the solicitation. Type of Set-Aside: Unrestricted The solicitation is being issued under FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. The NSN listed on the proposal will have a contract minimum and maximum dollar value that is set at the NSN level. These dollar values will be used to determine if cost and pricing data would be required by any proposals, and if none of the exceptions to cost and pricing data are found. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, past performance, delivery and any other factors listed in the solicitation.
