This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) The total quantity required is 49 with price breaks of 29-49, 50-74 & 75-95 each. All are to be shipped to (SW3113) Cherry Point, NC 28533. The Small Business size standard is 1,000 employees. Current approved manufacturer is Ontic Eng & Mfg. (45934) PN 28YC56. This solicitation opens on 7 November 2022 and closes 7 December 2022. The Government’s requested delivery time is 300 days. Inspection/acceptance destination and FOB requested is origin. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
