This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) The total quantity required is 106 with quantity price breaks of 50-100, 101-150 & 151-200 each. All 106 each are to be shipped to (SW3113)Cherry Point, NC 28533. The Business size standard is 1,000 employees. Current approved manufacturer is Ontic Engineering (45934) PN 28YC56. This solicitation opens on 22 March 2021 and closes 22 April 2021. The Government’s requested delivery time is 252 days. Inspection/acceptance origin and FOB requested is origin. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services.
