Approved sources are: Rocker Solenoid (07797) P/N 12524174 IAW BASIC DRAWING NR 1X4F3 AMSCBDOC REVISION NR DTD 03/07/2007 PART PIECE NUMBER: DLA L&M Proc Note L22 Restriction of Alternate Offers for Source Controlled Items (SEP 2017) applies The Government required delivery is 278 days, and the item will be shipped to the government stock location at Barstow, CA. Inspection/Acceptance Destination, FOB Origin (FDT applies). Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and socioeconomic factors. THE DLA LAND AND MARITIME IS ISSUING THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS AS A MEANS OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH TO IDENTIFY PARTIES HAVING AN INTEREST IN AND THE RESOURCES TO SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: ITEM: Solenoid Subassembly NSN 5945-01-460-5121 is to be procured in-accordance-with drawings number 1X4F3 AMSCBDOC (dated 3/7/2007), Rocker Solenoid (07797) P/N 12524174. Due to the criticality of the item, procurement is restricted to sources specified on the “Source Controlled” drawing. Rocker Solenoid (07797) is currently the only known approved source for this item. Once the solicitation is issued, DLAD 52.217-9023 – Restriction of Alternate Offers for Source Controlled Items will apply. A quantity of 618 each up to 900 each may be required and will be shipped to a DLA stocking location. NOTE: The cited drawing is a “source controlled” drawing and as of the date of this notice only the source(s) cited on the drawing have been approved. Even though sources and approved part numbers are provided, the items furnished must meet the requirements of the cited drawing. Any potential offerors who are interested in qualifying their products for purpose of future acquisitions must contact the cognizant design activity specified on the source controlled drawing.
