Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. While price might be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance factors, and socioeconomic factors. NSN 5961-01-053-3316 is to be procured in accordance with approved sources: M/A-COM Technology Solutions Inc. (50998) P/N PH8296 MACOM Technology Solutions Inc. (55NN2) P/N PH8296 Any resulting solicitation will contain procurement note L22 - Restriction of Alternate Offers for Source Controlled Items (April 2017).
