Quantity price breaks are requested from 3000 to 4000 units. Solicitation will not contain a quantity option. This item is solicited under Other Than Full and Open Competition, FAR 6.302(c)(1). Approved sources are: Boeing (0PXV4) P/N 29-32983-1 The Government required delivery is 338 days, and the item will be shipped to the government stock location at Hill, UT. Inspection/Acceptance Origin, FOB Origin (FDT applies). Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery and past performance factors. THE DLA LAND AND MARITIME IS ISSUING THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS AS A MEANS OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH TO IDENTIFY PARTIES HAVING AN INTEREST IN AND THE RESOURCES TO SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: ITEM: Discharger, Electrostatic NSN 5920-00-942-0027 is to be procured in accordance with approved sources: Boeing (0PXV4) P/N 29-32983-1 Once the solicitation is issued, interested sources must submit the appropriate information outlined in Procurement Notes L04/M06, Conditions for Evaluation and Acceptance of Offers for Part Numbered Items. A quantity of 1807 each up to 2250 each may be required and will be shipped to a DLA stocking location. The Purpose of this synopsis is to locate sources interested in becoming approved sources.
