Solicitation will not contain a quantity option. This item is solicited under Other Than Full and Open Competition, FAR 6.302(1)(c) Delivery is 875 days. Language will be included in the solicitation that reserves the right to consider offered delivery times that exceed the number of days required by the government. A Government First Article Test is required for non-waived sources. Enhanced JCP is required. RD002, Covered Defense Information Applies therefore, a NIST SP 800-171 Assessment must be completed in SPRS. This acquisition will involve classified documents and information. A DD-254 is required and contractors are to possess the proper clearance in NISS to be eligible for award. This item will be shipped to a government stock location at Hill AFB, UT. FOB: Origin, Inspection/Acceptance: Origin. FDT Applies. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on or around May 11, 2022. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available and must be downloaded from the internet site above. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. While price might be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and socioeconomic factors. DLA LAND AND MARITIME IS ISSUING THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS AS A MEANS OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH TO IDENTIFY PARTIES HAVING AN INTEREST IN AND THE RESOURCES TO SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: ITEM DESCRIPTION: Waveguide Assembly A quantity of 171 each with price breaks up to 250 each may be required and shipped to a DLA stock location. NSN 5985-01-620-0607 is to be procured in accordance with approved sources: Herley Industries, Inc. (32187) P/N MD055X007 Any resulting solicitation will contain procurement note L22 - Restriction of Alternate Offers for Source Controlled Items (SEP 2017). A classified drawing is included with this solicitation. Any interested sources must meet the NISS requirement. DLA Land and Maritime does NOT have any/adequate technical data with which to procure these items and alternate offeror must provide a complete data package including data for the approved and alternate part for evaluation.
