Approved source: Hi Rel Connectors (34222) P/N 44095-30P-303 The Government required delivery is phased: 189 days for the initial 250 units and 250 units every 42 days until lot completion. The item will be shipped to the government stock location at Susquehanna, PA. Inspection/Acceptance Destination, FOB Origin. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and socioeconomic factors. This solicitation is an RFP (Request For Proposal) and will be available at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on its issue date on or around 1/20/2022. Due to the criticality of the item, procurement is restricted to sources specified on the “Source Controlled” drawing. Hi Rel Connectors (34222) is currently the only known approved source for this item. Once the solicitation is issued, DLAD 52.217-9023 – Restriction of Alternate Offers for Source Controlled Items will apply. Hi Rel P/N 44095-30P-303 is the approved part for this NSN. A quantity of 2539 each up to 3000 each may be required and will be shipped to a DLA stocking location. NOTE: The cited drawing is a “source controlled” drawing and as of the date of this notice only the source(s) cited on the drawing have been approved. Even though sources and approved part numbers are provided, the items furnished must meet the requirements of the cited drawing.
