INSPECTION: Destination AMS /AMSC = 3/C - PROCUREMENT FROM APPROVED SOURCE Acquisition must be from the sources(s); or from dealer/distributor offering exact product (CAGE and part number) and who has furnished acceptable traceability documentation prior to award. Part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. The procurement agency does not have adequate data available for the evaluation of alternate offers. COMPLETE DATA PACKAGE OF DRAWINGS/SPECS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AT THE TIME OF SOLICITATION. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The Contracting Officer may utilize online Reverse Auctioning as a means of conducting price discussions under this solicitation. One or more of the items under this acquisiton may be subject to Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the english language and in U.S. Dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquistion of Commercial items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested person may indentify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
