Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. DLA Land and Maritime anticipates issuing a solicitation in the near future for approximately 329 EA of NSN 6010-01-464-8930. Item will be purchased IAW the following: Dolan-Jenner Industries, Inc. (18106) P/N: 524699-1 and P/N: 70-000437-0048 The anticipated packaging requirements are as follows: PKGING DATA - MIL-STD-2073-1D, 15 DEC 1999 QUP: 001 PRES MTHD: 41 CLNG/DRY: 1 PRESV MAT: 00 WRAP MAT: EA CUSH/DUNN MAT: NA CUSH/DUNN THKNESS: B UNIT CONT: D3 OPI: M INTRMDTE CONT: D3 INTRMDTE CONT QTY: AAA PACK CODE: U MARKING SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH MIL-STD-129. SPECIAL MARKING CODE: ZZ -ZZ Special Requirements PALLETIZATION SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH MD00100452 REV B DATED JULY 01, 2008 EACH UNIT PACKAGE WILL BE MARKED WITH THE NSN, CONTRACT NUMBER, LOT NUMBER, CONTRACTOR CAGE CODE, MANUFACTURER CAGE CODE, AND PART NUMBER. Material is anticipated to be shipped to: SW3218 DLA DISTRIBUTION SAN DIEGO 3581 CUMMINGS ROAD BLDG 3581 SAN DIEGO CA 92136-3581 US FOR TRANSPORTATION SEE DLAD DLAD PROC NOTE C19. FOR FIRST DESTINATION TRANSPORTATION SEE DLAD PROC NOTE C20 AND CONTRACT The solicitation is anticipated to require FOB Origin and Inspection and Acceptance of the supplies and packaging at Origin. Whether or not this acquisition will be set aside for small businesses is yet to be determined.
