Quantity price breaks are requested from 30-70 each. Solicitation will not contain a quantity option. This item is solicited under Other Than Full and Open Competition, FAR 6.302(c)(1). Inspection/Acceptance Destination, FOB Origin (FDT applies). Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and socioeconomic factors. DLA Land and Maritime is issuing this Source Sought Synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the following requirement: ITEM: Antenna NSN: 5985-01-455-2544 Approved Source(s): TE CONNECTIVITY CORPORATION 00779 P/N 3380-8029-0002 TE CONNECTIVITY CORPORATION 00779 P/N 3380-8029-0009 COBHAM ADVANCED ELECTRONIC SOLUTIONS 93346 P/N 3380-8029-0009 Once the solicitation is issued, sources who are interested in becoming an approved source must submit the appropriate information outlined in Procurement Notes L04 and M06, Conditions for Evaluation of Acceptance of Offers for Part Numbered Items. DLA Land and Maritime does not possess the technical data for this item and any alternate offeror must provide a complete data package including data for the approved and alternated part for evaluation. A Firm Fixed contract is anticipated for a quantity of 38 each with price breaks from 30-70 each. Delivery will be to a DLA stock location. The Purpose of this synopsis is to locate sources interested in becoming approved sources and for any additional approved sources. The response should include CAGE code; product line; quality certifications; company size; customer base and appropriate POC information. The company will then be place on the bidders list so that notification can be sent when the solicitation is available. This RFI is for market research purposes only. Any information submitted is at the company's own expense. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of capability statements in connection with the market survey. Any information provided is voluntary.
