NSN: 2530-015874444 Chamber Air Brake NSN: 4320-016039072 Pump, Hydraulic Maximum of the contract (including option): $787,702.38 This item is being procured under the Statutory Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(a)(1) - Available from only one or a limited number of sources, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Other Than Full and Open Competition - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Product Identification Description (PID) of the two NSN list only one approved source, which is Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) NAVISTAR DEFENSE LLC, CAGE code 338X5. The objective of this procurement is to place the item in a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQC) long-term contract (LTC) of a maximum of TWO (2) years, divided into a base period of one year (1) and a (1) year option period. Option years are to be opted at the discretion of the Government. The total duration of the contract shall not exceed two (2) years. The Government will solicit the acquisition under FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) Part 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services. The scope of the procurement is limited to the two items listed in Section B of the solicitation. The Government does not intend to bundle this item.
