The proposed procurement is for one (1) NSN [6135-01-340-8836 (Battery, Nonrecharge) and will be a FAR 15 Combined Set-Aside (SDVOSB, HUBZone, then total small business set-aside) for a code and part numbered item. Unit of issue is Each (EA). Full and Open Competition after Exclusion of Sources applies. All responsible sources may submit an offer / quote, which shall be considered. This proposed procurement is for a three-year base period and two options. Items are for stock and will be shipped to DLA stocking locations within the established minimum and maximum quantity limits, on an as-needed basis. The total shall not exceed five (5) years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation will open on or about July 31, 2020. The contract specialist will not be able to provide copies of the solicitation. The solicitation will not be available until the issue date at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp/. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
