Item Name: BARREL, CARBINE NSN: 1005-01-471-5456 ADQ: 7,773 EA The scope of this acquisition is for a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), FAR Subpart 13.5 Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) for the procurement of National Stock Number (NSN) 1005-01-471-5456. The resultant contract will be for a one (1) five-year (5-year) base period. Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items are applicable. The Contracting Officer has determined that this NSN is commercial in accordance with the description in FAR 2.101. This will be solicited as Unrestricted with Other than Full and Open Competition. FOB Destination and Inspection/Acceptance at Origin. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on or around May 5, 2023. The proposal will be evaluated according to “Best Value” procedures on the basis of Price, Past Performance and Proposed Delivery. All evaluation factors, other than price, when combined are equal to price. Approved source is COLT'S MANUFACTURING COMPANY LLC (13629) P/N 12991851.
