RFI #: SPE605-23-RFI-1001 Date Posted: December 9, 2022 Date Responses Due: December 22, 2022 This Source Sought Notice (SS) SPE605-23-RFI-1001 is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation on the part of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) - Energy. The purpose of this SS is to identify qualified Businesses that are interested and capable of providing for the ground fuel requirements for DLA-Energy. This SS covers the grounds fuel requirements for DLA-Energy customers located in various areas of Japan. The expected period of performance is January 2, 2023 - July 31, 2024. The product procured consists of: Gasoline, Regular Unleaded (MUR) NSN: 9130-00-148-7103 The Locations and Estimated Annual Quantities (EAQ) consists of: Hardy Navy Exchange – Tokyo, Japan (EAQ: 39,600 gallons into below ground tanks) Hario Navy Exchange – Sasebo, Japan (EAQ: 202,500 USG into below ground tanks) Ikego Navy Exchange - Zushi, Japan (EAQ: 254,998 USG into below ground tanks) Yokosuka Navy Exchange – Yokosuka, Japan (EAQ: 2,000,000 USG into below ground tanks) Sasebo Navy Exchange – Sasebo, Japan (EAQ: 630,000 USG into below ground tanks). Naval Air Facility Atsugi – Atsugi, Japan (EAQ: 576,000 USG into below ground tanks). Misawa Air Base – Misawa, Japan (EAQ: 2,000,000 USG into below ground tanks). For purpose of compiling responses to this Source Sought Notice, the deadline is set on December 22, 2022, 3:00PM, Fort Belvoir, Virginia Time. In responding to this notice please provide the following information: Your company name, CAGE Code, any owners, email address, phone/fax numbers. Background information of the firm and/or contractor regarding technical capability and ability to perform. Which areas of Japan are you able to supply fuel? What are the names and locations of your fuel supplier(s)? Are you a refinery? Are you able to support smaller quantities by One Time Buys and/or Long-Term Support? Has your company participated in any current or previous contracts under the Direct Delivery Ground Fuels Program?
