This is not a Request for Proposals (RFP) and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The amount of information for publication at this time is limited. This RFI is issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 and shall not be considered as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any services. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy seeks business sources who are capable to perform laboratory testing of Aviation Fuels such as Jet A, Jet A with additives (F-24), Jet A-1, JP-8 (F-34), JP-5 (F-44. The capable source will be responsible for laboratory testing described in Table 1 (below). Alternate test methods can be considered if submitted for review. The turnaround time for testing to be completed is eight (8) hours. A Government representative will transport the fuel samples to the laboratory and be required to witness all testing. Please include a list of your laboratories globally where testing of the fuel can be performed. In addition, if all tests cannot be performed at all locations, please advise of such. Past Performance. Proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. To aid the Government, please segregate proprietary information. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Information provided by industry to the Government as result of this notice is voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this RFI. All responses to this notice are to be submitted by 1:00 PM local Fort Belvoir, VA, time on August 22, 2022.
