The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is to locate sources for the acquisition of services to build, manage, and operate a retail fuel facility on MCB Quantico, VA. The contractor is responsible for and furnishing as required all personnel, equipment, material and/or facilities necessary for providing ground fuel services. The contractor shall provide retail fuel dispensing services for commercial grade gasoline, E85 alternative fuel, and commercial grade diesel. The contractor shall be completely responsible at their expense for the operation and maintenance of the facility. Please complete the following questions when responding. Please provide a brief summary of the company and its core competencies. Please provide Point of Contact (POC) information to include name(s), address, email, and phone number. Describe your company’s past performance in the managing and operating of a retail fuel facility. This request for information (RFI) is for planning and market research purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information gathered from this announcement will be used to determine if responsible sources exist and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or set aside for small business. Furthermore, the Government will use the information, in part, to determine the best acquisition strategy for a potential procurement action and to assist in making future acquisition strategy decisions. This is not a request for quote or proposal. The Government does not intend to award on the basis of this RFI or reimburse any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this RFI.
