DLA Energy is seeking sources for the transportation of Jet Propellant Thermally Stable (JPTS) aviation fuel in bulk fuel containers from DFSP Texas City, TX to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) in Alaska. The contractor would handle trucking from Texas to Tacoma, WA and from an Alaskan port to JBER, while the government coordinates the vessel movements between Tacoma and Alaska. The scope includes loading, delivery, on-site chassis retention until fuel is consumed, and return of empty containers. The anticipated contract type is a firm fixed-price purchase order.
