DLA Energy-Aerospace Energy is seeking to identify capable U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) qualified/certified small businesses only who can demonstrate in their response to this RFI the capability to conduct and accomplish the requirements specified in this RFI. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 325120, with the corresponding size standard of 1,000 employees. Purpose and Objectives To assist DLA Energy-Aerospace Energy in making a determination regarding the level of participation by small business in any subsequent procurement that may result from this Sources Sought, you are also encouraged to provide information regarding your plans to use joint venturing (JV) or partnering to meet each of the requirement areas contained herein. This includes responses from qualified and capable Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses, Women-Owned Small Businesses, HUBZone Small Businesses and 8(a) Businesses. You should provide information on how you would envision your company's area of expertise and those of any proposed JV/partner would be combined to meet the specific requirements contained in this announcement. In order to make a determination for a small business set-aside, two or more qualified and capable small businesses must submit responses that demonstrate their qualifications. Responses must demonstrate the company's ability to perform in accordance with the Limitations on Sub-Contracting Clause (FAR 52.219-14). General Requirement Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy-Aerospace Energy, requires delivery of Aviator’s Breathing Oxygen (ABO)( NSN 6830-01-644-2463), Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) Type II, Grade B ( NSN 6830-01-663-6199) and Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) Type II, Grade B ( NSN 6830-01-644-2557), f.o.b. destination to various locations in Southeast United Sates. (Reference attached DRAFT Statement of Objectives (SOO) for details). Response Requirements The U.S. Government invites responsible sources to respond to this RFI that have the capability to meet these requirements as a prime contractor at a fair and reasonable price and have an interest to propose on any subsequent procurement. The submission must be no more than five (5) pages and no smaller than 12 point font demonstrating ability to provide the supplies/services in this announcement.
