SYNOPSIS: This amendment to the Synopsis revises the Solicitation number to SPE603-20-R-0509. DLA Energy anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal within the next 60 days to perform the required environmental remediation services. The period of performance is a four-year base period from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2024. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) within the next 60 days to perform environmental remediation services at Eielson Air Force Base (AFB), AK and the former Defense Supply Point (DFSP) Whittier, AK. The requirements for Eielson AFB include the operation and maintenance (O&M) of a remedial system at Moose Creek and environmental assessment and remediation services for a pipeline, which extends from the Flint Hills refinery in North Pole to Eielson AFB. The requirements for DFSP Whittier include the O&M of the remediation system. The period of performance is a four-year base period from April 1, 2020 through March 31, 2024. The Government anticipates awarding two firm fixed-price contracts, one for Eielson AFB and one for DFSP Whittier. This procurement will be a Small Business set-aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 562910 size standards. A pre-proposal conference will be conducted in Alaska on a date to be determined and posted on FedBizOpps. Offerors will be required to submit in writing to the Contract Specialist via email the name(s) of the individual(s) who plan to attend. Interested companies responding to the solicitation will be required to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).
