Contractors who are not quoting the approved manufacturing source are considered to be Alternate Offers and may submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package to be considered for future awards contingent upon the review/approval/acceptance of the SAR package. The quantity is 3,708 reels. Each reel equals 1,000 feet. This is an unrestricted procurement. The RFP will be issued as an other than full and open competition. The applicable statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. This is not a commercial item. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract in accordance with FAR Part 15. FOB Origin, Destination Inspection applies. Price and Past Performance will be evaluation factors. The requested delivery is 120 days. The estimated solicitation issue date is 12/6/19. The solicitation will become available on DIBBS after the issue date.
