This is a Navy Critical Safety Item.Government First Article Testing and Contractor Production Lot Testing is required. Drawings are not available. Contractors who are not quoting one of the approved manufacturing sources are considered to be Alternate Offers and may submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package to be considered for future awards contingent upon the review/approval/acceptance of the SAR package. The quantity is 350 each. The solicitation will contain 100% quantity option. This is an unrestricted procurement.The RFP will be issued as an other than full and open competition. The applicable statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. This is not a commercial item. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract in accordance with FAR Part 15. FOB Origin, Source Inspection applies. Price and Past Performance will be evaluation factors. The requested delivery is 360 days. The estimated solicitation issue date is 2/10/21. The solicitation will become available on DIBBS after the issue date. The DIBBS website is https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is 3/24/21.
