This is NOT a Request for a Proposal (RFP), a Request for Quote (RFQ) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). DLA Troop Support is seeking to identify possible sources that can manufacture NSN: 5340-01-484-6575, Part Number 2-33209 Drawings are not available. DLA Troop Support does not possess adequate data for the evaluation of potential sources for this NSN. Vendors interested in becoming approved sources for this NSN must submit the appropriate information as outlined in DLAD 52.217-9002, Conditions for Evaluation and Acceptance of Offers of Part Numbered Items. Interested contractors will be requested to complete a technical data package which will be forwarded to the Engineering Support Activity for review. DLA Troop Support is in the process for developing a solicitation for the referenced item. The quantity will be 2000 each with a 100 % quantity option. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for the purpose of market research only and the Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material as a result of this inquiry. The Government WILL NOT reimburse respondents for any costs associated with the submission of capability statements in connection with the market survey. The Government will not pay for any information submitted by respondents in response to this NSN. Any information provided in response to this Sources Sought Notice is voluntary. All submitted information shall remain with the Government and shall not be returned.
