DLA Weapons Support – Richmond is conducting a sources-sought market survey to identify potential small business suppliers for C-5 aircraft seals, with multiple contracts possible. The effort would require new manufacture of the seals, including component procurement/manufacture, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping, to support a 90-day production flow schedule for global DoD needs. Award is anticipated in September 2027, and any resulting contracts would cover a 5-year period. Before award, seals must be authorized by the qualifying activity for the applicable Source Qualification List, and offerors must demonstrate manufacturing capability through the C-5 Source Qualification Statement developed by WR-ALC engineers. Market research responses will help determine the procurement method, which may be a small business set-aside or full and open competition, and multiple awards may be made.
