DLA Aviation intends to award/add this NSN onto a sole source, long-term, Requirements Type subsumable contract with a performance period of one, five-year option period under an umbrella contract to 3M Company. Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than December 30, 2025. This is a Sources Sought to determine the availability and technical capability of small businesses (including the following subsets, HUBZone Small Business concerns; Certified 8(a) Small Business concerns, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns, Woman-Owned Small Business concerns) to provide the required products and/or services. SYNOPSIS Solicitation number SPE4AX26RX006 is issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP). This is notice of the Government’s intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Other Than Full and Open Competition. This acquisition is for items sole source to 3M. (76381) The proposed contract action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis as supported by the Class Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The proposed sole source contract will be issued to 3M. (76381), the sole manufacturer and only known source of supply for these items. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price and follow on to existing LTC SPE4AX17D9407 (76381) utilizing FAR 15 procedure. The solicitation includes one sole source 3M. (76381); NSNs for this action; see the attachment to this synopsis for more details. It is the Government’s intent to issue a sole source letter solicitation to the sole manufacturer and only known source of supply, for this population of items sole source to 3M. (76381); therefore, if any non-OEM source is interested in any of the NSNs, please notify the acquisition specialist prior to the solicitation’s closing date. Responses to this announcement from other than the OEM should identify items of interest and include evidence of ability to supply the items for the contract period as identified. In addition, respondents should identify the quantity available and price.
