The Defense Logistics Agency intends to award a sole-source, ten-year contract to Moog, Inc. for consumable and depot-level reparable spare parts, with performance at Moog's facility in Blacksburg, VA. The contract will consist of a five-year base period and a five-year option period, using firm fixed pricing with price redetermination at the option period. The government does not possess technical data for these parts, which support various weapon systems, and shipments will be made on a DLA direct basis. Non-OEM sources and surplus dealers may respond with evidence of their ability to supply the items, including quantity and price, to potentially alter the acquisition strategy.
