Sources Sought for a potential Supply Chain Management Contract for F108 Engine Support – Mission Analysis

The Government is conducting market research to determine whether companies other than CFM International can provide supply chain management/PBL support for F108 engine support, with the intent to solicit and negotiate on a sole-source basis under the existing F108 PBL contract. Required work includes validating engine usage assumptions and CFMI LLP LCF limits/maintenance intervals, updating thermal/CAD/stress F108 part models, certifying a self-locking borescope plug with a service bulletin, and providing program management. The contractor would also need to perform analysis on those elements and develop any needed testing to validate functional capability in the CFM56-2 engine configuration.
