The Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support (Richmond) is conducting a Sources Sought to assess whether other companies can provide 16 NSNs currently identified as sole source, with the goal of adding them to an existing F100 sole source contract awarded to Pratt & Whitney/CAGE 52661. The contract is predominantly for spare parts support and includes holistic support plus program and logistics management services such as planning and forecasting, all aimed at improving engine availability for supported platforms. The contract has 9 potential years remaining. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.103, but responses may be used to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
