Amendment 001: This notice is made to annotate Amendment 001 made to SPE4AX-23-R-0033. This action removes the references to the terms and conditions for the General Electric (GE) Captains of Industry (COI) Supplier Capability Contract (SCC) SPE4AX-18-D-9418. This action will be made as a stand-alone contracting action. Due to this amendment, the closing date will be extended until May 15, 2024. _____________________________________________________________________ DLA Aviation intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to CFM International, CAGE 58828, via a letter Request for Proposal (RFP). A copy of the solicitation will not be available via the DLA-BSM Internet Bid Board Systems (DIBBS). A copy of this solicitation may only be available to requesters by contacting the Point of Contract (POC) for this notice directly. The agency intends to award a subsumable contract in accordance with the general terms and conditions for the General Electric (GE) Captains of Industry (COI) Supplier Capability Contract (SCC) SPE4AX-18-D-9418. The letter RFP will be issued for the purpose of acquiring performance-based holistic support which includes supply support, demand/planning forecasting, material management, engineering support and sustainment elements, packaging, storage/warehousing, and reliability improvements of the F108 Engine manufactured by CFM International (CFM) and the associated F-108 Bill of Materials (BOM). This solicitation is for award of a Firm Fixed Price Requirements – Type contract under FAR Part 12 for commercial acquisitions. The term will be one five-year base period with a potential single, five-year option period. The total duration (base plus option period) shall not exceed ten years. The estimated solicitation issue date is October 16, 2023, with an estimated closing date of November 17, 2023.
