Solicitation SPE4AX-22-R-GE01 has been assigned to add NSN 2840-01-703-0845; PN 1964M15G05R to the F Series COI (SPE4AX-15-D-9412). This email constitutes a letter solicitation requesting pricing for a best estimated quantity (BEQ) of twenty-four (24) each to be procured per month for the remainder of the contract term. This item will be procured as all material within Appendix A but will not be incorporated into any performance metrics. This part is being added as a substitute part for another item that is currently on the contract in order to reduce backorders. DLA requests a fully compliant FAR 15 proposal for all items by 06 October 2022. It is acknowledged the Contractor will assess that proposal due date after the complete population of items have been input and "exploded" from your system. At that point, DLA and Contractor will discuss and work toward mutual agreement on the proposal submission and overall add timeline. Requests tied to the proposal: 1. Request "exploded" BOM to be provided to DLA soonest (with NIINs included, when applicable). DLA included a BOM as a reference, please notify DLA of any changes. 2. Request delivery schedule for the proposed quantities (~24 Ea/Mth) 3. Request feedback with regards to proposal due date in order to finalize the timeline/milestones and share accordingly.

DLA Aviation, Richmond proposes to issue a Letter Request for Proposal (RFP) to add one (1) National Stock Number to the General Electric (GE) (07482) F Series Captains of Industry (COI) contract, SPE4AX15D9412, a long-term sole source contract which includes multiple NSNs to support various weapon systems. This item is being added to the GE F Series COI (07482) contract, SPE4AX15D9412, in accordance with the initially approved J&A. The pricing for the NSN will be for the remainder of the contract. The contract requires a supply of parts with agreed to terms of FOB origin and inspection/acceptance at destination to DLA Direct stock locations. A total of one (1) NSN is targeted for this contract effort. It is anticipated that the NSN will be priced for the award. The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to GE, CAGE 07482. It is the Government's intent to use a letter solicitation format to the GE; therefore, if another source is interested in the NSN, please notify the Contracting Officer prior to the synopsis closing date. Responses to this announcement from other than GE are required by Monday, September 5, 2022. A copy of the letter of interest should be forwarded to the contracting officer identified herein. Additionally, letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to GE. This is proposed to be a FAR Part 15 effort. The attached NSN has been identified for the current procurement. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. The anticipated letter RFP issue date is Monday, September 5, 2022. The anticipated closing date is Wednesday, October 5, 2022.
