The items are listed below: This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term, strategic sole source contract which will include multiple NSNs. A total of 2 NSNs are targeted for this contract effort. The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis as supported by a J&A IAW FAR 6.302-1. This is an unrestricted acquisition with origin inspection for DLA Direct (Stock) support. The OEM and Approved Source is listed below: CAGE 45934, ONTIC ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING This is proposed to be a FAR Part 15 effort. The proposed contract will be a firm-fixed price, requirements type contract with price redetermination-prospective. The NSNs listed below are the items that have been identified for this current action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. 3040-01-180-4101, SHAFT SHOULDERED, under part number 2012B58, with an anticipated annual QTY of 30, and NAICS 333612. 1620-01-297-2296, ADAPTER ASSY, LANDIN, under part number 2012B266A, with an anticipated annual QTY of 67, and NAICS 336413. Hazardous material may apply. Critical Safety Items (CSI) does not apply. Contractor FAT and Contractor Production Lot Testing applies. Export Control Items does not apply. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Potential sources shall be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities and equipment required to accomplish the new manufacture of the item(s).
