DLA Aviation intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to General Electric Company, CAGE 07482, via a letter Request for Proposal (RFP). A copy of the solicitation will not be available via the DLA-BSM Internet Bid Board Systems (DIBBS). A copy of this solicitation may only be available to requesters by contacting the Point of Contract (POC) for this notice directly. The agency intends to award a subsumable contract in accordance with the general terms and conditions for the General Electric (GE) Captains of Industry (COI) Supplier Capability Contract (SCC) SPE4AX-18-D-9418. The letter RFP will be issued for the purpose of acquiring performance-based holistic support which includes supply support, demand/planning forecasting, material management, engineering support and sustainment elements, packaging, storage/warehousing, reliability improvements, and field customer service/engineering support of the F101/F110/F118 (F Series) Engines manufactured by General Electric (GE) Aircraft Engines, and the associated F Series Bill of Materials (BOM) of DLA managed consumable parts. This effort will be a Firm Fixed Price Requirements – Type contract with Prospective Price Redetermination. The term will be one five-year base period with a single, five-year option period. The total duration (base plus option period) shall not exceed ten years. The estimated solicitation issue date is March 15, 2022; with an estimated closing date of April 29, 2022.
