DLA Aviation-Richmond plans to issue a solicitation for a Long-Term Contract for a base period of one year and four one-year options. The solicitation has will include a single NSN for 6350-01-347-8918 for P/N SAS-04398-01. There is currently one approved manufacturing sources for the solicited item and a competitive evaluation will be conducted to allow dealers an opprtunity to participate. The Government will conduct a line by line evaluation and each National Stock Number (NSN) will be awarded to the offeror that provides the best value to the Government based on the most advantageous combination of price and past performance. The solicitation will be unrestricted. The solicitation is expected to result in a fixed price Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) which will include 1-year base and four 1-year options for a total potential 5-year contract term. All responsible sources may provide a capability statement in response to this synopsis. Upon release of the solicitation, all responsible sources may provide a quote. However, interested offerors must demonstrate that they are capable of fulfilling the entire requirement over the 5-year potential contract term to be considered for award. In addition, interested parties must obtain source approval OR provide material from the current approved sources to be considered for award.
