COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR Item to be added to SPE4AX-20-D-9002 Solicitation: SPE4AX-20-R-ADDS01 This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Solicitation number SPE4AX-20-R-ADDS01 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARS) and Defense Logistics Acquisition Directive (DLAD). The associated NAICS code is 336412. The government intends to add this part to the current GE TF34 COI Contract, SPE4AX-20-D-9002. All terms and conditions of that contract are in full force and effect. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Qualification Requirements: Do not exist. QUALIFIED SOURCE: Competition is limited as only one responsible source exists and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. GE Aviation (CAGE 99207) is currently the only qualified source who can manufacture these parts. The Government does not have rights to these parts, manufacturing, production or process data. This information is proprietary to GE. Specifications, plans, or drawings related to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government.
