DLA Aviation Richmond intends to issue a solicitation to procure a Five (5) Axis CNC Horizontal Machining Center with contract completion required by December 18, 2021. Request for Proposal SPE4A8-21-Q-0023 is Unrestricted, Full and Open Competition. A complete Purchase Description Statement of Work (SOW) package, VIBB-20-30-1203 to include required accessories/tooling, IUID tag, technical data, installation, rigging, existing equipment removal, foundation and training are attached to the Solicitation. The delivery location is Cherry Point, NC. The estimated release date of the Solicitation will be on or about February 03, 2021 and closing on March 19, 2021. Site visit is scheduled to provide potential contractor the opportunity to the view the installation location. All interested parties shall follow the instruction under the solicitation attachments on pages 145 through 161. A copy of the solicitation will be available on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/.
