This is notice of the Government’s intent to issue a sole-source firm-fixed price solicitation. The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to: Robert E Morris CO INC., CAGE 04975 under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The solicitation is intended to be “unrestricted” in business size, other than full and open competition/after exclusion of sources. This is proposed to be a FAR Part 12 effort. Description of requirements: One (1) Okuma LB3000EX-II-MY Multitasking CNC Lathe in accordance with Technical Specification VIBB 23-35-1305 dated 01 July 2024. Performance period/completion 210 days after receipt of order. FOB, Inspection, and Acceptance at Destination. Destination is Tinker Air Force Base, Bldg 9001, Oklahoma City, OK 73145. The complete technical data package for VIBB 23-35-1305 including machine, tooling, technical data, IUID tag, Installation, and shipping will be included as a part of the solicitation. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. RFQ SPE4A8-25-Q-0003 is anticipated to be issue on or around 19 February 2024. A copy of the written solicitation will be available via the DLA DIBBS website at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/Solicitations.
