The Government proposes to issue a firm fixed price contract for four (4) OMAX 80X-1 Dual Bridge Abrasive Waterjets in accordance with Purchase Description VIBB 23-13-1010 and other attachments to the solicitation. Delivery of two (2) waterjets shall be to Trident Refit Facility Kings Bay, GA, and two (2) Waterjets for Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. Solicitation number SPE4A8-23-Q-0038 will be issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). This is notice of the Government’s intent to issue the contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), other than full and open competition and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. The award shall be based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria. Performance period is 266 calendar days after receipt of order. A copy of the solicitation will be available on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. To obtain a copy of the solicitation, click on the Solicitations tab and enter solicitation number you wish to download in the DIBBS Global Solicitation Search box on the right side of the screen.
