DLA Aviation Richmond intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for a Rotary Grinding Machine in accordance with Purchase Description VIBB 19-40-1010 dated 1 May 2019 and other attachments to the solicitation. Performance period completion date is 245 days after receipt of order. Solicitation number SPE4A8-20-Q-0035 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This is notice of the Government’s intent to issue a firm-fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.2, full and open competition after exclusion of sources. A copy of the solicitation will be available on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. To obtain a copy of the solicitation, click on the Solicitations tab and enter solicitation number you wish to download in the DIBBS Global Solicitation Search box on the right side of the screen. Quotes must be submitted no later than the closing date and time as listed. All respondents shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website (https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM/), and have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number. All quotes received after the closing date listed may be considered “late” and may not be considered for award. The estimated release date of the solicitation will be on or about February 25th, 2020 and closing date of March 27, 2020.
