The Government proposes to issue a firm fixed price contract to repair and upgrade a Drop Bottom Furnace, as well as procure (2) two parts baskets. This is a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set aside. Any responsible small business source capable of meeting the requirement may submit technical, delivery, pricing, and past performance data sufficient to determine capability. All respondents shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website (https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM/), and have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number. This solicitation is intended to result in a Firm, Fixed Price Contract with completion in 45 days after contract award. The solicitation will be issued and evaluation performed utilizing FAR 13.5 under the guidance of the Permanent Authority for Use of Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This request with technical data package, DLA-VIBB 19-40-1001 specifying all design, fabrication, supplies, labor, accessories, installation, and training requirements will be included as part of this solicitation. Inspection / Acceptance FOB Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, OK. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of technical acceptability, price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
