DLA Weapons Support (Richmond) is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Synopsis for a cable cutter blade (NSN 1560-012949872; Magellan Aerospace P/N 342-83011-1) under NAICS 335411. Interested qualified organizations are asked to provide company/organization details and tailored capability statements, including documentation and any subcontracting or teaming structure, to help determine the procurement method and whether to set aside for small businesses or use full-and-open competition, with possible multiple awards. Potential sources must be capable of new manufacture and related support, including component procurement/manufacture, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, shipping, supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting, long-lead part procurement, obsolescence/material-shortage management, and shipping serviceable assets. Estimated annual demand is 40 each with a minimum of 10 and maximum of 40, and unit prices will be established at contract award.
