DLA Aviation is conducting market research to identify companies capable of manufacturing or legitimately obtaining a specific hydraulic brake piston, which is currently manufactured by Safran Landing Systems. This is a Sources Sought Notice for informational purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment to award a contract. Interested parties may submit a response to the primary point of contact, and companies desiring to become an approved source must submit an application package through the Source Approval Request (SAR) Program. The SAR package must demonstrate the ability to manufacture the item to an equal or better quality than the currently approved item.
