An indefinite quantity contract will be established for a source-controlled bleed air duct, with a 5-year base period and an estimated annual quantity of 40 units. The item is critical but not a Critical Safety Item, is subject to export control, and will be delivered FOB destination with inspection/acceptance at destination. The only approved sources are Lockheed Martin (OEM) and Arrowhead Products, and the Government does not possess complete technical data. Interested parties must submit a Source Approval Request to be considered, and responses will be evaluated to determine whether competition is feasible; the Government may proceed with a sole-source award. Contractors must be registered in SAM to receive award, and the solicitation will be available electronically via DIBBS.
