The Est... An Unrestricted solicitation will be issued to establish an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for NSN 2840-01-442-9118, a SEAL, METALLIC, AIRCRAFT. The award will be for a 5-year base period. The Estimated Annual Quantity (EAQ) is 400 EACH. Production units will be FOB: Destination; Inspection /Acceptance: Origin. Item is critical and deemed an Air Force Critical Safety Item. Contractor First Article Testing and Export Control apply. Surge applies with MWR = 15 each. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. The OEM is RTX Corp. (CAGEs 52661 & 77445) under p/n 4083668-01. Approved source is AGC Acquisition LLC (CAGE 98500). Any other interested contractor would have to submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package for approval to be added as a source by the assigned ESA. DLA Aviation does NOT possess technical data on this part. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies. In order to receive an award, regardless of dollar value, contractors must be registered in the System For Award Management (sam.gov).
