The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. The Defense Logistics Agency is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for NSN: 2995-009551020, HOUSING,OIL PUMP AS. This item is currently identified as part number 475282 from OEM RAYTHEON TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION CAGE 77445 AND 52661. Potential sources shall be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities and equipment required to accomplish the new manufacture of the item(s). Generally, this entails the procurement/manufacture of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping. Additionally, potential sources may be responsible for supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production requirements, long-lead time parts procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortage issues, and shipping serviceable assets.
