Only Vendors who have access to the data or can provide traceability to the approved sources should bid. The solicitation will result in an indefinite quantity contract with one, one-year base period and four, one-year option periods. The estimate annual demand quantity is 127 each. The guaranteed minimum quantity is 32 each for the base period. The maximum contract quantity for the life of the contract is estimated 955 each for the base and option periods combined. The required production lead-time is 89 days after receipt of order (ARO). FOB at Origin with Inspection/acceptance at Destination. Option to extend terms of the contract 48 months. Duration of contract period 60 months. Unrestricted procurement, utilizing other than full and open competition. Item is of critical application. Surge and Sustainment is required. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Defense Logistics Agency is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for a EYEPIECE ASSEMBLY, O (NSN 5855-014361324). The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336413. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability.
