The solicitation will result in an indefinite quantity contract with one, one-year base period and four, one-year option periods. The estimate annual demand quantity is 37 each for 1560-001337157 & 1560-001337158 is 36. The guaranteed minimum quantity is 9 each for NSN 1660-012290947 & minimum quantity for NSN 1560-001337158 is 9 for the base year. The maximum contract quantity for the life of the contract is estimated 275 for 1560-001337157 each & NSN 1560-001337158, 275 each for the base and option periods combined. The required production lead-time is 96 days after receipt of order (ARO). FOB at Origin with Inspection/acceptance at Origin. Option to extend terms of the contract 48 months. Duration of contract period 60 months. Unrestricted procurement, utilizing other than full and open competition. Item is of critical application. Configuration control applies. Surge and Sustainment is required for both NSN’s. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Defense Logistics Agency is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for a WINDSHIELD PANEL,AI (NSN 1560- 001337157 & WINDSHIELD PANEL,AI NSN 1560- 001337158). The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336413. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
