Critical Application Item. NAICS is 336413. This is an unrestricted, other than full and open competitive procurement. FOB DESTINATION, Inspection/Acceptance: DESTINATION. This is a Request for proposal for an Indefinite Quantity Long Term Contract, 5-year base. EAD is 16 each. The government does possess limited technical data. SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS The DLA AVIATION is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for 1680 004202600: CONTROL WHEEL, AIRCRAFT. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Generally, this entails the procurement/manufacture of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping. Additionally, potential sources may be responsible for supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production requirements, long-lead time parts procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortage issues, and shipping serviceable assets.
