DLA Weapons Support-Richmond is conducting market research to identify parties interested in and capable of supporting a requirement for a Valve, Manual Bleed (NSN 1270-00-561-0060, P/N 91816). This sources sought is not a solicitation or request for proposals, and responses are voluntary; Technical Orders and Qualification Requirements are not available. Potential sources must be able to furnish all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment for new manufacture, including component procurement/manufacture, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping. Additional possible responsibilities include supply chain management, logistics planning, production forecasting, long-lead part procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources/material shortage support, and shipping serviceable assets. Based on market research responses, the requirement may be set aside for small businesses or procured through full and open competition, with multiple awards possible, and unit prices will be established at contract award.
