Multiple NSNs for a Long-Term Contract for SPS TECHNOLOGIES, LLC., CAGE 56878 and CAGE 78286, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term, sole source contract which will include multiple NSNs / FSCs. A total of 20 NSNs are targeted for this contract effort. It is anticipated that 20 NSNs will be priced for the initial contract award. The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis as supported by a J&A in accordance with (IAW) FAR 6.302-1. The proposed sole source contract will be issued for and/or on behalf CAGE 78286, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, and CAGE 56878, SPS Technologies, LLC. The proposed contract will be for a total five-year period of performance (1-year base and four (4) one-year options to extend the terms of the contract). Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This is proposed to be a FAR part 15 effort. The proposed contract will be an Indefinite Quantity Contract, firm fixed price contract in accordance with FAR 16.504(a)(1) with an Economic Price Adjustment (EPA). The list of NSNs are the items that have been identified for this current action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. It is the Government’s intent to post the solicitation to DIBBS. Surplus dealers are also invited to respond to this synopsis. The response should include a completed surplus certificate, in accordance with Procurement Note C04, UNUSED FORMER GOVERNMENT SURPLUS PROPERTY, Government Surplus Material or adequate traceability documentation to show that the product is acceptable. (Note: Other Aviation sites will provide their equivalent surplus clause, as applicable). Responses to this announcement from other than the OEM should identify items of interest and include evidence of ability to supply the items for the contract period as identified. In addition, respondents should identify the quantity available and price. A copy of the letter of interest should be forwarded to the contracting officer identified herein and SBA PCR (tammy.birdsong@sba.gov). The Government may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the Government. The Defense Logistics Agency is issuing this Sources Sought Synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for the following NSNs with current approved sources SIKORSKY AIRCRAFT CORPORATION, CAGE 78286 and SPS TECHNOLOGIES, LLC, CAGE 56878 and CAGE 80539 (see attached list of NIINs). The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 332722 (Bolt, Nut, Screw, Rivet, and Washing Manufacturing). THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Drawings are not available. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. Additionally, potential sources may be responsible for supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production requirements, long-lead time parts procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortage issues, and shipping serviceable assets. The unit prices will be established at the time of a contract award.
